Our History

Since 1944, we have supplied domestic and international food manufacturers, brewers, private retailers, exporters and distributors with premium quality California rice.

As industry leaders, we work to develop production, milling and marketing programs that ensure a secure supply of quality rice for consumers, a profitable return on the investments made by our member growers, and a responsible approach to the overall impact our business imposes on our environment.

Farmers’ Rice Cooperative (FRC) is a grower-owned rice marketing cooperative with corporate offices in Sacramento, California. FRC’s rice milling and manufacturing facilities are adjacent to the Port of Sacramento in the City of West Sacramento, California.

Farmers’ Rice Cooperative maintains its competitive edge because it invests time and resources in its business and establishes long-term relationships with its customers.
