New Member Retain Relief Program

FRC established the Retain Relief Program to ease the initial capital investment for new members.  New members have the opportunity to “try FRC for a year” with no equity requirement and several years with minimal requirements for the first three years. 

• Qualifying new members will have a reduced retain for the first three years of membership
• Year 1 = $.00 retain
• No voting rights
• Year 2 = $.06 retain
• Requirement and voting rights based on average deliveries
• Year 3 = $.12 retain
• Requirement and voting rights based on average deliveries
• Will begin with the 2005 crop
• New Member / Existing Acreage applications must be a new person
• FRC Board has final approval on all new memberships
• Program also available to current members who are expanding their acreage within existing entities
• Submit an application to the FRC Board
• Must be new acreage, not farmed by the applicant in the last three years
• FRC will create a second account for the new acreage
• New acreage will be separated as a new entity and will qualify for the retain relief
• Both accounts (old and new) will use the same tax identification number
• Dividend to be paid on each account based on equity in each on August 31
