FRC Appoints New CEO & President

The Board of Directors of Farmers’ Rice Cooperative is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank G. Bragg, III., as President and Chief Executive Officer of FRC effective January 1, 2012.   Mr. Bragg succeeds Mike Sandrock who retired December 31st, 2011after 28 years of service to the Cooperative.

We believe we have found an outstanding individual to lead this company into the future.  Frank Bragg brings a wealth of experience in management with both private and Cooperative businesses.  He previously served as President and CEO for MBG Marketing, a North American based blueberry marketing Cooperative of 365 members. Prior to MBG Markerting, Frank served as Vice President of the Citrus Juice and Oils business for Sunkist Growers. He also served as President and Chief Operating Officer for Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Holdings of Irvine, California and previously spent twelve years in Sacramento with Blue Diamond Growers where he held executive positions in operations and business development.

Frank has completed graduate programs at both the University of Missouri and Stanford University.

We look forward to working with Frank Bragg to strategically move this Cooperative forward with the goal of further improving member value and operating results.

FRC members will have an opportunity to meet Frank and get acquainted with him during our regular schedule of “member pocket meetings” beginning in early February.
