Farms 750 acres of rice in Sutter and Placer Counties. Has been a member of FRC since 1992 and a Board Member since 2000. Member of the FRC Audit and Finance Committee and the FRC Membership Committee.

A graduate of U.C. Davis with a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics. Successfully completed Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School. Member of the Board of the California Rice Industry Association (CRIA) and alternate Director for the California Rice Commission. Retired from Pacific Bell after 28 years in financial and cash management, equipment leasing and marketing. Former Director of the Sacramento Valley Farm Credit, the California 4-H Foundation, and Patelco Credit Union.
