Ken Collins

Director – Butte District

Has farmed since 1980 in the Gridley – Biggs area of Butte County. Currently grows 1,900 acres of rice. Has been marketing rice through FRC since 1992 as the manager of a large family trust and became a new FRC member in 2002.

Has an AA degree in Farm and Auto Technology from Butte College. Serves on the Rice Research Trust Board of Directors, Vice Chairman of the California Rice Industry Association (CRIA), member of Rice Straw Advisory Committee and past Chairman of Butte County FSA Committee.
