Charlie Hoppin

Vice Chairman, Central District

Farms 2,000 acres of rice, melons, walnuts, safflower, wheat, and field corn in Sutter and Yolo Counties. Has been farming since 1969 and a member of Farmers’ Rice Cooperative Since 1984.

A graduate of Woodland High School and California State University Chico. Serves as Vice Chairman of FRC, Chairman of FRC Audit and Finance Committee and is a member of the FRC Executive Committee. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the California Rice Industry Association and also serves as a member of the California Rice Commission’s California Rice Producers’ Group and member of the State Board of Food and Agriculture.
